When the boutique 81-room Fairlane Hotel opens its doors early next year in downtown Nashville, it will also signal the first out-of-state expansion of one of the best delis New York City has to offer.

Mile End Deli, the Montreal-style Jewish deli from restaurateur Noah Bernamoff, will open in the ground floor of the Fairlane at 401 Union St., joining Union Teller Coffee Counter and fourth floor terrace restaurant and bar Ellington’s in the project.

The wildly popular eatery, which opened in 2010, operates as both a Jewish delicatessen and a Canadian-style restaurant, serving a variety of sandwiches, ‘noshes,’ breakfast items, and sides, including Montreal-style smoked meat, homemade hot dogs with sauerkraut, and poutine. A representative tells Eater Nashville that the menu will feature many of its most popular dishes, as well as new offerings available only at the Fairlane Hotel. Black Seed Bagels, which Bernamoff co-owns and opened back in 2014, is featured exclusively at Mile End’s two NYC outposts, so fingers crossed they make their way down south.

Mile End will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a full bar offering cocktails, happy hours and late night snacks. Union Teller Coffee Counter will handle caffeine duties, brewing up Stumptown Coffee.
