Sometimes a conversation in an issue or a pull request can move off in a tangental direction. Now you can click Open new issue within the comment’s options menu to open a new issue which will include a reference to the original comment – helping you get the conversation back on track.
The release of GitHub Desktop 1.4 includes two important improvements:
You’ll now know before you click “Merge” whether you’re going to encounter merge conflicts between the branches you’re merging.
You’ll also be able to see what’s new in each release inside the app without having to go to the GitHub Desktop website.
The 2.14.5, 2.13.11, 2.12.19, and 2.11.25 releases for GitHub Enterprise are now available for download.
