Burger restaurant Shake Shack will open its second Nashville location in the downtown mixed-use development Fifth + Broadway.

The first location opened in Green Hills in August.

Shake Shack is a popular “roadside” burger stand known for its burgers, hot dogs and frozen custard, which has earned it a cult-like following around the world. The Green Hills location has partnered with local favorites Peg Leg Porker, Little Mosko and Olive & Sinclair for a few menu items.

“We’re pleased to welcome one of America’s most exciting eateries to one of America’s most exciting downtowns” said Burgin Dossett, regional manager at OliverMcMillan, part of the Fifth + Broadway development team. “Shake Shack places a premium on quality ingredients and guest experience, which mirrors our own development philosophy. Shake Shack at Fifth + Broadway will be a favorite of area residents, downtown workers and Nashville visitors alike.”

Fifth + Broadway will replace the old Nashville convention center with retail, residential and workspace.

The project is running on time with retail expected to open first in Spring of 2020.
